Masculine tavern by Sandy LaMendola

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, designed by Sandy LaMendola, the featured bar and den offers a rustic ambience with a masculine charm.

"The family uses this area for relaxing after dinner, and also for entertaining, so it needed to be an informal yet inviting room, with full bar facilities," she says. "The sense of masculine space is not lost – rather, it is reflected in the integrity of the materials, such as the heavy wood beams and metal strapping."

This aura is further with a sharp look found with the use of rift-cut oak cabinets, walnut plank countertop for the bar, hand-painted ceiling, and a fire screen with matching irons.
