White galley by Karen Williams

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, when space is limited, a little innovative approach is needed.

The graceful, elegant kitchen above is the prime example of a modest space that achieves a refined renovation to become a galley kitchen and emphasizes the horizontal lines of the given small space.
"The dining room – between the kitchen and living area – is often used for the buffet when the owners entertain," said designer Karen Williams. "To gain extra storage space, we introduced large wall cabinets here for platters, napkins, and cutlery."

"Marble surfaces are a feature of the kitchen, and extend behind the glass-fronted cabinets for even greater impact," stated the designer. "The mosaic-tiled floors in both rooms – in the same stone – are a direct visual link that also works as a connecting device."

"We set the oven, four-burner griddle, fryer and teppanyaki hotplate side by side in one cooking zone," added Williams. "In addition, I designed a stainless steel face, with matching under-counter cabinets, to group the appliances and help define the cooking area."
