Practical and workable by Michael Lewis and Roberta Kravette

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, designed by architect Michael Lewis and kitchen designer Roberta Kravette, the presented kitchen was requested to meet the need of the a modern functionality and working space optimization. Hence, the mindful choices of designed pieces.

"We did this by slipping drawers and cupboards into every possible space and fitting them with either pull-out or roll-out interiors. These accessories make it possible to access even the dead space in the back of deep, narrow drawers and high cupboards," she says. "For example, a three-inch-wide space beside the microwave has been utilized. Its pull-out interior gives access to a cupboard that is 15 inches deep and 30 inches tall – ideal for storing spices. A similar pull-out cupboard beside the oven, only nine inches wide, is used for storing oils and condiments."

The finishing touch was a kitchen with ample storage and a restored Art Deco style.
