As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, a collaborated work between designer Matthew Quinn and
builder Jim Hixon, the presented kitchen’s
renovation needs to answer all the requests made from owners of a space that is
heavy-duty, modern, and regaling in a neutral framework.
"The solution was to create several zones. The cooktop,
for example, is positioned at one end of the island, so the owners can face
guests while preparing meals. A stainless steel countertop immediately behind
the cooktop offers an additional set-down area." Quinn said.
"Honey-rift fir veneer display cabinets and high-gloss
flooring avoid a cold, sterile look," he added. "Simple finger-pulls
ensure there is no bulky hardware detracting from the seamless look of the
cabinets."
