Textural formation by Kyle Gaffney

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, choices of subtle tones such as black, white, grey, and distinctive texture form this contemporary, open-plan kitchen.

"They wanted an entertainers' kitchen that looked like part of the living area, and with enough storage to allow them to tidy up quickly if the doorbell rings," architect Kyle Gaffney said.

A dark bog-oak finish is specified for cabinetry with frosted glass overhead cabinets and open shelves to provide a modern profile to the space while the colorful, patterned splashback tiles give a playful touch.

The freestanding island is long featuring a recycled wood bar with Stained light gray for food prep and entertaining.
