As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, owner-designer Brian Snow decided to
renovate the above kitchen in a new character. A new space that is well-connected
to the adjacent living area and provides a spacious area with a modern profile
was the new motif.
"Keeping everything very open helps to make the kitchen
seem larger, and the ceiling higher," the designer said. "The
overhead cabinets are also 14in deep, rather than the standard 12in, so they
can hold large plates and platters."
Abundant storage is specified with a bank of cabinetry in chocolate
brown glass doors and drawers framed in brushed aluminum which offers a
sharp-edge appearance to the piece. This is reinforced by Café Brown granite
countertops and a matching backsplash as well as the brown flooring.
