For culinary lovers by Simon Pritchett

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, the more passions push the boundary of a design, the better the impact created.

The presented kitchen’s designer and owner did just as that. With both him and his wife passion towards cooking, the outcome of a design with a carefully planned, compact kitchen that caters to every practical need.

"My wife is a food stylist and we both love the whole look and culture of food," said Pritchett. "Making a feature of the kitchen-ware through customized cabinetry both emphasizes this and provides instant access to items as they're needed."

"Despite being situated in an alcove, the kitchen forms part of a larger open-plan area, so family and visitors can gravitate to the island," Pritchett stated. "We wanted to subtly demarcate the kitchen while still encouraging interaction between the spaces."

"With a high stud the overall area worked well with stronger colors," he added. "The walls in the kitchen are painted brick red, while in the living area they have a deep ochre paint finish."
