Functional, entertaining, and seamless by Wendy Evans Joseph

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, owner-architect Wendy Evans Joseph renovated the featured kitchen to become a more socializing space which can house several cooks to do the food task without bumping to each other.

"The island plays an important role in the kitchen organization. If I'm preparing food on one side, people will walk past on the other – there's no need to push past me," said Joseph.

"My son likes to use the Wolf oven at the rear of the kitchen for baking, and the cantilevered surface of the island provides a handy work surface in this area, too."

"This kitchen connects well to spaces beyond it, too. Orientation of the worksurfaces and range allows you to chat to guests or admire the views as you work."
