Gradual transition by Bill Dellinger

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, part of a renovation process is to sketch and see how the overall design consistently look with the rest of the house. The featured kitchen’s revamp is no different, as kitchen designer Bill Dellinger stated.

"The house, on a golf course, was part of a high-end development – the owners bought it new about 20 years ago, but had not had any input into its design, which was quite traditional," Dellinger says. "We worked with the architect while the design concept evolved from traditional, through transitional to highly contemporary."

"We provided vertical pulls for the tall cabinets to reinforce their sleek, uncluttered lines," Dellinger said.

"We wanted the overhead cabinets to make a strong design statement, so these were wrapped in canvas, and one of the owners created a colorful artwork."
