In good proportion by Jess Valintine

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, in designing a good kitchen, designer ought to have the mixture of material and tone right as the presented kitchen illustrates.

Designer Jess Valintine was briefed to create a space that was streamlined and modern which subdued the clinical feel.

Valintine opted the peninsula bench in one waterfall end made of a Formica Dark Metalline surface which accentuates the bright-red color-backed glass on the front of the unit.

The cabinetry’s doors of Melteca Dark Oak were specified to give a variant aspect to the space. "To lighten the effect of these darker surfaces, we introduced sandblasted glass doors for the small appliance cupboard," said Valintine. "These are set within aluminum frames, which also complement the Formica benchtops."
