According to reliable
furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction
materials information, most of the choice in decorating a
kitchen is the neutral, plain skin in material and tone since it becomes an
open plan layout and incorporates itself into the living and dining spaces.
The presented kitchen
is case in point where most of the surfaces are finished in understated white
tone. However, prevent a too much clinical feel is also needed as designer Renae Keller said.
"An all-white kitchen would
have been too stark, however," the designer said. "So we introduced a
subway tile backsplash in a warm putty color, with a crackle glaze. This has a
little more of a traditional feel, yet it works with the classic, square-edged
design of the cabinetry."
"The lighting creates a focal point within the large,
open-plan living space, which has 9ft ceilings," added Keller. "The
pendants have a round, organic feel that is another nice contrast to the crisp,
square lines of the cabinetry."
