Provided by notable

materials, designed by Luis Ibarra and Teresa Rosano, the photographed kitchen’s
inspirational concept was a harmonizing act and visual consistency.
The owners also wished for a space that was able to amuse
their guests while on their daily cooking duty. "To achieve this, we raised the
bar top on the island by creating a bank of oak cabinets that wraps around the
upper part of the island. This provides a series of small appliance garages on
the countertop where items can be hidden away when not in use. On the front of
the island, the cabinetry provides storage for items needed for the dining
table." Rosano said.
"The owners took their cue from the desert
landscape," added Rosano. "The colors outside are mostly neutral, but
at certain times of the year, the desert flowers burst into bloom with
wonderful splashes of color."
