Provided by notable
furniture in Cambodia construction
materials, bestow with a picturesque surrounding, owners of
the pictured kitchen asked architect
Nils Finne to renovate the space that would be soft for the eyes so that it
would not dictate the outdoor view which would also be maximized.
"By cantilevering the house out from the foundations,
we were able to bring the living areas to within twenty-five feet of the lake
shore without violating set-back bylaws," says Finne.
To further capturing the view, full-height glass walls were
specified. The open plan kitchen also face the outlook so that cooking and food
preparation go instantly with the view intake.
Simple palette and natural timber material were chosen to
make the kitchen look unobtrusive in a minimalist manner and helps heighten
view capitalization.
