materials, designed by Nancy Del Santo, the presented kitchen is part of an
addition to a classical Cape Cod home and the brief given was a space that
bring about a sense of a homey, garden-style breakfast area.
"We were able to move a washer and dryer to a hall
closet, which freed up space in the kitchen," she says. "We could
then maximize every inch."
The traditional accents are seen with the paneled doors and
drawers of the cabinetry and checkerboard-style patterned splashback.
New additions include a full-height pantry with roll-out
shelves that house supplies and crockery, windows, a bay, and a French door.
