A room to entertain by Gail Drury

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, blessed with a large space, owners of the featured kitchen wished for the renovated space that would carry out its duty without the expense of aesthetics and mainly be an entertaining zone for their guests.

Designer Gail Drury’s solution was an incorporation of a large island of five seats, and  two taller side windows for an even airier and lighter appearance.

"A muted high-gloss paint color was chosen to offset the dark-stained cabinetry," she said. "And we added a splash of soft green in the near-symmetrical center cabinetry, which houses the refrigerator and pantry."
