"The client wanted to create a kitchen and breakfast
room to replace the existing kitchen – she wanted the new space to be easy on
the eye, spacious and comfortable," said designer Chris Hodge of the above
kitchen’s overhaul concept, as provided by notable furniture in
Cambodia construction
materials.
Hodge continued: "To achieve this, we removed a wall
between the former kitchen and a passage to the garage."
"In terms of longevity, I chose materials that would
age gracefully – such as Brazilian slate for the floors and marble for the
worktops," stated the designer.
"The kitchen is designed to be
warm and welcoming, and also to never need updating – I think the choice of
materials and cabinetry achieves this," Hodge added.
