Gentle and subtle by Jewell Cassells

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, sometimes natural wood does not always spell traditional and bygone era when used in design. Such is demonstrated in the presented kitchen.

Designer Jewell Cassells opted for a modern approach with the use of stainless steel and terrazzo benchtops, glass splashbacks, and a concrete floor. However, specifically, natural timber of maple from the cabinetry also offers the contemporary style with understated finishes.

The predominant piece of the space is the standalone, backpainted island. Its benchtop of natural stone also boost the aesthetics of chicness and soft tone in white lacquer.

The kitchen caters to the need of a busy family life with its similar theme found with various decorative items on open shelves made from the same maple.
