"The owners wanted a brighter, more spacious kitchen
that opened out onto the adjacent family room and outdoor area." said
designer Marilyn Shaw about the above practical space’s renovation project, as provided
by notable furniture in Cambodia construction
materials.
The designer’s solution
was to incorporate traditional element with modern functionality. Traditional
footprint found with the drop-paneled ceiling and classical cashmere carpet on
top of the floor. Timber benchtops also spell out the bygone era.
Modern intruders are
stainless steel appliances and handles, and luminescent glass slpashback.
Plenty of storage is assured with a large back of cabinetry housing crockery
and small appliances to keep the surfaces clutter-free and seamless.
