In-between remodel by Lisa Grider

According to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information, the brief from owner of the featured kitchen was a practical space that had an open plan environment in a more modern, clean-lined look despite being located in a traditional house.

"We replaced the closed-off layout with an open, flowing design – substituting an island for the peninsula and separating the work areas to allow clear access through to the dining room at the rear," said designer Lisa Grider. "The prep area is on the island, near the refrigerator, cooktop, and oven, while the wash-up station – with second sink and dishwasher – is on the opposite wall."

"The kitchen's horizontal emphasis also leads the eye down the room – towards the breakfast area and arched windows," added Grider.
