Antique cellar by Bill Cook

"It had to be a collector's gallery, not just a place in which to store wine," said designer Bill Cook of the above kitchen’s renovation project. "It needed to express the personality of the collector and to be an attractive room. We also wanted it to look like a dark, underground cellar."

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, to match with owner’s collection of antiquity, old-style design was specified. The room is full of old-world items pertaining to winemaking such as old French wine vessels, barrels and antique glasses. The tasting table in the middle of the room also exudes antique ambience of an old wine-barrel holder. The gilt-framed painting of Bacchanalian revels also depicts a classical theme and offers tonal expressions of reds, blues, golds and browns reinforced by a Sumack rug and retro chair.
