A harbor-based kitchen design by Irene James

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, to make the most out of the spectacular harbor view, owner of the featured kitchen requested designer Irene James of a minimalist design that would not distract the eyes from the inspiring outlook.

James, hence, opted a sleek, streamlined tree- and native bush-clad material to create a simple kitchen design that pares back to the background.

The cabinetry and wall panels of the kitchen are made of light-brown stained American oak incorporated with stainless steel functional pieces and marble benchtops that make the whole space a clutter-free image.

Paring back the design is not enough. To maximize the outdoor sight, the kitchen is positioned on an elevated floor with glazing windows for the vista viewing.
