with 20 years of no renovation, designer Janice Teague was requested to refurbish almost everything
in the previous design. From shower and single vanity to toilet and bidet to a
huge Jacuzzi bathtub.
"We removed the Jacuzzi and replaced it with a smaller,
more functional, free-standing soaking tub. The bidet was also removed, which
created more space for a much larger shower with a rainhead and various body
sprays. Without the large tub, there was enough space in the bathroom for two
separate vanities," the designer stated.
"As well as providing a bigger floor area, this layout
gave the bathroom a more open atmosphere," she spoke.
"We decided on the natural look of a lava stone soaking
tub that sits on a bed of small river rocks. The tub is now the focal point of
the room," added one of the owners.
