Asian style by Gigi Olive and Mary Jane Pappas

"They expressed a strong interest in an interior that would reflect an Asian design influence." designer Gigi Olive stated about owner’s desired concept to create the presented space, according to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information.

Authenticity was the key element in the design. Raw and natural materials were specified to form and accentuate the S-shape islands. "The rounded ends were instrumental in creating an inviting, social space," designer Mary Jane Pappas. "They also bring a visual softness to an otherwise very rectilinear interior."

The Asian culture was seen with the use of an ebony matte-lacquered finish for the overhead display cabinets. "The black is echoed by the bar stools, oven, cooktop and even the power outlets on the wall," added Pappas. "These are placed rhythmically so they form part of the geometry of the room."
