"The owners wanted a much larger space where the
extended family, including grandchildren, could gather, cook and relax." A
brief given to architect Todd Main and designer Shelly Handman to remodel the
above kitchen.
According to reliable
furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction
materials information, many alterations and reconstructions
took place to establish the new footprint of the kitchen. One of which was a large skylight that allowed ample
light to spread through the space.
The noteworthy aspect, however, was the seamless sycamore
cabinetry which offers a warm contrast to the stainless steel doors and
appliances. "It's
a tailored contemporary look with a lot of softness that fits with the rest of
the house."
While plenty of storage is assured, the kitchen offers three
distinctive sinks – one for floral arranging, another one for food preparation,
and the last one for cleanup.
